Attention!

ATTENTION MOVIEGOERS

I, Cole, along with Thatcher and Darius will be departing for Washington DC on an 8th grade trip on Monday, May 27th, and will be returning Saturday, June 1st. Hi, my name is Jesse Burleson and I have a passion for film. I've seen thousands of movies and it's my great pleasure to share my love/dislike for them with you. I currently live in the Chicagoland area and work as a tennis teaching professional in the suburbs and in downtown. I have a business/marketing degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan and I've been reviewing movies on and off since 2003. My first writing job was for my company newsletter. But I saw my first movie (Star Wars (1977)) when I was 3 years old. My dad took me to a nearby drive-in near Niles, MI. to see it. My favorite film is Aliens followed by Apocalypse Now, Days of Heaven, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, and Pulp Fiction. My view on cinema is this: A great film gives you a invigorating feeling or emotion. It stays with you, and it makes you think about it long after it's over. It also stands the test of time, holds up, and it's relevant as the future marches on. A bad film does none of these things. It's as simple as that. Thank you all for your support of our blog.
